This park has several short hiking trails and camping, fishing etc. Word of advice: BRING BUG SPRAY!! especially if you are going during summer/fall. I usually do not use any bug spray when hiking and dont have a problem but this place was out of control with flying bugs! It was really pretty though.

Clingmans Dome, TN
This place was GORGEOUS! the road to the top was closed so you could hike it if you wanted and we did want so we hiked a bit. It started getting super deep snow and we couldnt continue after about a mile of walking. But what we did get to see was worth it!
Through the mountain bridge on the way up.
A snowman we built on our way up :)
Hillsborough River State Park, Thonotosassa FL
This park had a ton of different trails for hiking we took several for about five or 6 miles of hiking. Tons of animals, nice trails and bridges. All these pics are pretty self explanatory but this one is a cute little baby toad.
Little Manatee River State Park, Wimauma Fl
This park was really nice. It had a 6.5 mile hiking trail I walked with a girlfriend. It had just stormed the weekend before so there were a lot of areas with downed trees we had to climb over, and some watery parts too.
An armadillo in the middle there.
Big caterpillar.
Decent size snake we saw, about 3 ft in length very pretty and dangerous... Coral snake.
That big black bigfoot looking thing in the middle is a wild hog that scared the crap out of us. There were several feeding around the back side of the trail and they freaked when we walked up on them and ran away.
Ok, this one is kind of hard to see too LOL :) that shiny blob on the right hand side near the middle is a gator who had just got done snatching a squirrel out of a tree!
And, one last caterpillar.

Okeefenokee Swamp, GA
Feb, 2011. It was raining the whole time we were there but we had went so far out of our way to get there we didnt mind the rain. Unfortunately my camera died about halfway through. We did see several deer and they also had another trail and a recreated old time house/barn/property that I didnt get to take any pics of :(
There were a bunch of gators in this lake/swamp thing. We also saw two otters playing a lot and some birds.
If you click this picture and make it full size you can see the gator in the middle of the screen it was about ten ft away.
